Griffith Corp announces changes in its leadership; Chairman returning to his cultural work
CEO Alysyn Bourque will become Chairman of the Board on Monday
LOS ANGELES — The Griffith Corporation will be making some changes this week, as Chairman Will Griffith announces he’ll return to The Griffith Center and his artistic career, turning over the day-to-day operations of the media network to CEO Alysyn Ayrica Bourque. Bourque will hold both posts starting Monday. She will be the company’s first female chairman.
For Griffith, his concentration will now be focused on a series of human rights, cultural and artistic grants now pending for The Griffith Center, which promotes the theme of ‘Artists In Action’, promotes the work of artists from around the world and also manages Griffith’s own artwork.
“It will allow the corporate and cultural work of both the company and the center to move forward amid a surge of growth”, said Griffith Corp. VP Brian Colson in an email today, “And as we explore the three pending contracts for the company, the Center will be concentrating on building its cultural projects”
Griffith has granted ArtChix Magazine an exclusive interview which will run on the Friday cover as an early feature due out sometime tomorrow.
