Griffith Corp nearing decision on new home for media operations
LOS ANGELES — The Griffith Corporation is nearing its decision on which State to move its newly launched media network. According to Brian Colson, a VP at the company, the question being asked is no longer “if” they move operations out of California, but where and when.
Colson said Board members will convene this week to weigh the current options on the table. A series of contract offers and grant proposals have been narrowed down to Texas, Arizona and Virginia.
“It will be only a matter of time before a decision is made”, said Colson over the weekend, “The decision should be made before our original deadline of March”.
Colson said the company’s stock buyback program will be completed by April and Griffith Corp. will again be operating in the black, the first time in three years.
